changing lives
We deliver a comprehensive service with a high level of support every step of the way. Our knowledge and experience help young adults with support, guidance and the assistance required to prepare them for the transition into full independent living.
A common experience for many young adults leaving care (or home) is insufficient opportunities to develop household or budgeting skills and emotional resilience. Many are expected to cope with living independently and it should come as no surprise that some young adults have problems maintaining their tenancies or experience other related problems.
support
Our individualised support packages range from 3 hours per week through to 24 hours per day, depending on individual needs.
SCL support young adults from many different backgrounds
Social Care London also work with many unaccompanied asylum-seeking children looking for refuge in the UK. These young adults travel to the UK from various countries with little knowledge of what to expect when they arrive, which can be very daunting Our highly experienced team of support workers with various ethnic backgrounds and experience are on hand to support and work with asylum seekers.
