we aim to provide a safe and welcoming environment

SCL work with 22 local authorities across London, Kent, and the Southeast of England and support 40+ young adults currently in our services.

We have young adults who have moved on to FT employment, University placements and achieving more than their own expectations originally allowed them. Inspiring and guiding young adults is our passion to enable them to become more independent and thrive as they transition into adulthood is the aim of Social Care London.

how we help

Social Care London provide clear expectations and ensure we meet these and support young adults to take responsibility for their own lives.

We focus initially on building trust and good communication through positive interaction with all young adults. A document we use is called the Independence Tool kit which supports all young adults to create and take pride in their achievements and use this to evidence to the Local authority and housing representatives their suitability and readiness to move onto their own flat within the community.

A safe, high-specification home to transition comfortably into adulthood.
Provide support & guidance throughout the process.
Ongoing & consistent support is offered until you're ready to be fully independent.

we help change young adults' lives

At SCL we provide:

  • A safe living environment
  • Access to 24-hour support
  • A plan to assist you becoming independent

break the cycle of homelessness

At SCL we help change young people’s lives. We provide:

• Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit;
• Hassle-free rental accommodation in relaxed spaces offering a great quality of life;
• Safety & security in a city that can be as impersonal as it is exciting.

…in the heart of London

Our mission is to bridge the gap for 16+ children looked after (CLA), care leavers and unaccompanied minors in London and surrounding counties leaving residential/fostering homes and living entirely independently amongst the community; maturing from childhood to adulthood providing them with a continuing pathway to independence.

Colin Taylor

Executive Director

As the Founder and Director of Operations at Social Care London, I am extremely proud to have observed and continuously reviewed the gradual and carefully considered development and progress of this great company.

From the very beginning of the company’s inception, the recruitment of the 1st staff teams, the 1st house opening and the 1st referral as well as all the ups and downs on the journey to where SCL is today.  A thriving provision of excellence, second to none and the market leader in the South London Boroughs.  We now have 14 Provisions across London, Kent and the South East currently supporting 50+ young people inclusive of 7 floating support services and a growing outreach portfolio.

I have worked in most related jobs in this area of the health and social care sector from rookie support worker to Lead placements officer in LA LCT to Area manageMent for some of the biggest providers in the sector so can empathise with every member of our team and this experience tempered with a vast business acumen means Social Care London is the only place to send young people who need inspired and guided through the complexities of childhood to adulthood in a safe and secure way.
